Moist Heat Therapy
- To Heat: Place the pad on a clean ceramic, microwave-safe plate. (A clean ceramic plate ensures no food or oil residue transfers to the fabric, avoiding hot spots or scorching.)
- Heating Method: Microwave in 1-minute increments, carefully kneading the pad between intervals to distribute heat evenly.
- Safety First: Do not overheat. Always test the temperature against the inside of your wrist before applying to sensitive areas.
Therapeutic Tip: Natural basaltic lava sand draws ambient moisture from the air, delivering a humid, deep-penetrating heat. For intensified moist heat, you can lightly mist the outer twill cover with water before microwaving.
